We have installed GAC (Granulated Activated Carbon) filtration systems in our Waste Water Systems. This is intended to create redundancy within our wastewater systems. Enhanced SCADA systems detect non-compliant water and automatically responds to prevent discharge by shutting off valves and forcing the systems to recycle. We have installed RO (Reverse Osmosis) systems to assist in further clean up, and now reuse our wastewater. Our goal is to return the water cleaner than it was when it came in.
We have installed a SCADA system (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) to monitor and track 56 different sensors within our waste water system. This system provides real time alerts for how the system is functioning, allowing for the system to be monitored 24/7. If the system detects a change, senior management teams will receive emails and text alerts that will allow us to act quickly and efficiently.
Every process is being re-evaluated. We are scrutinizing every aspect of how we work to create improvements. Our new Management team prioritizes safety, accountability and communication. Every team member at Tribar is aligned in our goal of Continuous Improvement.
Our Customers expect us to operate without incident and that is what we are determined to do. We are genuinely trying to prevent accidents and we are committed to ensuring that hazards do not harm our team. We have implemented a Safety First mentality. We will use training, coaching, and auditing to support our teams in this pledge.
To support our community, we are making large Impact Investments into our systems to ensure that we are doing everything possible to keep our employees, community, and environment safe for generations. We are working with local teams to help with River Clean up events and other outreach programs.
We go through tremendous lengths to reuse all the cardboard boxes we use. We have a recycle rate that now exceeds 80% internally. We pledge to continue to work towards cardboard reduction and are also working hard to recycle water, plastic and other recyclable products.
At Tribar Technologies, we take seriously our responsibilities as a good corporate citizen, a responsible employer, and a supplier of choice to the automotive industry. That includes a commitment to do the right thing on behalf of the environment and the community in which we live and work.
Our main goal is to move to an environmentally friendly surface treatment, focused on the pursuit of Trivalent chromium as the new direction for bright surface finishing.
Tribar has completed an assessment to convert many of our product lines to environmentally friendly trivalent chrome. Tribar is pursuing multiple facility upgrades to deliver environmentally-friendly coatings to our customers.
In addition to implementing corrective actions to our facilities that would prevent a Hexavalent chromium event from ever occurring again, we continue to pursue better, more environmentally-friendly surface finishes. We have, and will continue to, invest in systems designed to protect our waterways.
One person can make a difference - imagine what a team of people can do with a shared vision!
We want to make this great for our children.
We want to keep our environment clean
